As one of the leading organizations dedicated to advancing palliative care research, NPCRC has spent decades investing in researchers, building the evidence base, and helping establish palliative care as a recognized and respected field of medicine.

This project was created as both a legacy piece for the NPCRC as the organization sunsetted to the NIH, and an educational resource for the next generation of healthcare professionals and researchers. Using expert interviews with researchers, doctors, and personal stories, the film places the organization's work within the broader history of palliative care while highlighting the people and community that helped build the field and will continue to sustain it.
